A New Blog Home

For a long time now (since July 2003, in fact) I’ve been keeping a couple of different blogs at Blogger.com. I kept one blog for my knitterly friends and a different blog (this one) for my not-so-knitterly friends.

Life has become very busy for me in the past few months, and I’ve decided that it would be best to combine my blogs. I also wanted to give WordPress a whirl, thinking it might be quicker to post here and therefore I might be a little less pokey about posting. :-)

So, my new online home is Dava Knits a Bit at WordPress. I’ve now imported all my posts from both “Dava’s Corner” and “Cricket Knits a Bit” on Blogger, so please feel welcome to follow me to the new site.

Things I'm Doing

Knitting: Oh, how addicted I have become to sticks and string! My current favorite is knitting socks. I just love the way that sock yarn feels. Not to mention that I'll have warm toes this winter. *G*
Listening to Audiobooks: I found that it's difficult for me to knit and watch television at the same time unless I'm watching something I've already seen. So, I learned that I can check out audiobooks from my local library over the internet and don't even have to make a trip to the library!
Playing: Pogo online. Also playing a few occasional canasta tournaments on the internet.
Facebook: I was a hold-out for a long time, but Facebook has turned into a great resource to catch up with old friends and classmates I've not seen in ages.
