Obviously a Case of Denial

I just noticed that on last Thursday's "Obligatory Rant About Gas Prices", I referenced gas prices as being $2.559 and $2.779 and $2.899. Oh, how I wish it was true! They were $3.559, $3.779 and $3.899.

Who'da thunk I'd ever be nostalgic for gas prices under $3.00???

Things I'm Doing

Knitting: Oh, how addicted I have become to sticks and string! My current favorite is knitting socks. I just love the way that sock yarn feels. Not to mention that I'll have warm toes this winter. *G*
Listening to Audiobooks: I found that it's difficult for me to knit and watch television at the same time unless I'm watching something I've already seen. So, I learned that I can check out audiobooks from my local library over the internet and don't even have to make a trip to the library!
Playing: Pogo online. Also playing a few occasional canasta tournaments on the internet.
Facebook: I was a hold-out for a long time, but Facebook has turned into a great resource to catch up with old friends and classmates I've not seen in ages.
